Located in the prestigious Eagle Street dining precinct tucked under one of the riverfront towers over looking the Story Bridge, Esquire is arguably Brisbane's best restaurant and is the only restaurant in the state to achieve a coveted 3 Hats.
Upon entering, you step into a spacious yet earthy room that houses a commitment between diner & kitchen. Esquire offers a seamless flow degustation menu that constantly evolves. Each night may present 12 to 25 items per menu with wine matching being highly recommended by our Head Sommelier.

We have a strong and mature workplace culture at Esquire. There is a certain expectation standard on quality and appearance. We are a small team where everyone works well together and where everyone really thrives under pressure and “owns” the intensity. Along with this there is an enjoyment and a want to be in the industry. Although some of our staff members are studying other disciplines, all have a niche passion about something particular to the industry, be it wine, culinary development or a standard of service in support of high-quality dining.

Management is nurturing and focused on providing the best possible environment to allow their team to perform and flourish. Everything is done to the most professional standard and in many a case management act as mentors to the junior staff as all of us have been in many roles and learnt from experience over our career in the industry.

We require all our candidates to be passionate about providing the highest service to customers and taking them on a culinary journey. We love it when candidates share a desire to make a career out of hospitality; a bit of experience is preferred but not necessary. We look strongly to character and drive!

In the kitchen, it would be preferable if you have some overseas experience. Esq. and head chef Ryan Squires creates a great incubator for chefs to learn and develop.
